Commissioning a portrait and how to do it.

How to order a portrait: From here to your front door!

Step one:

Deciding on which media you would like your portrait to be i.e. Watercolour or traditional Pencil.

Step two:

Deciding on what size you would like your portrait to be using the guide below. This is only a guide but I can accommodate almost any size to suit your personal requirements. From here you will be able to work out prices to suit your budget and for how ever many subjects you want portrayed.

Step three:

Contact me with your requirements You can send me your photographs through email (you can send a few different ones if you are not sure which one you would like to be used and I can tell you which of the photographs would be best to work from) along with your media and size requirements. I will get back to you to confirm this is possible and I will give you a date for which your 40% deposit will be due before I can start work on your portrait.

At the moment I accept payment through paypal (with the email address sharlenebruce@hotmail.com) or by cheque if you reside in the UK.

Step four:

Work on your portrait begins once payment has cleared (I will inform you of this) I can start working on your portrait and it should be with you within 3 weeks depending on my waiting list at the time but this is the maximum time you will wait.

Step five:

You will be sent an email with a photograph of your finished portrait giving you a chance to make any changes if you wish or to confirm you are happy with what you see. When you are happy with your Portrait the remainder of the costs will then be due and once this payment has cleared your portrait will be on its way to you!
